Our annual Manitou Music Fest is back!

Manitou Music Fest is a high-energy celebration of Saskatchewan music, held every September long weekend on the shores of Little Manitou Lake.

The festival began right here at Little Manitou Art Gallery in 2018, bringing musicians and audiences together for a full day of live music at the beach. It has since grown into a multi-day festival through a collaboration with Danceland, with performances there Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

At Little Manitou Art Gallery, Saturday remains at the heart of the festival — live music, entertainment and an eclectic mix of island rock, folk, blues and more.

The original home of Manitou Music Fest, Little Manitou Art Gallery comes alive Saturday evening with seven hours of live music, entertainment and Saskatchewan talent.

Headliner: Oral Fuentes Band

Saturday Lineup

• Oral Fuentes — Infectious reggae with Afro-Latin fusion, rooted in Fuentes’ Belizean background and built for dancing. His Saskatoon-based band brings together musicians from diverse cultural backgrounds and has appeared at the Saskatchewan Jazz Festival, Regina Folk Festival, Ness Creek and JunoFest.

• The Great Fuss — High-energy Saskatoon pop-rock blending classic British influences with contemporary indie rock. Think catchy melodies, driving piano and guitar, and a joyful live show with influences ranging from The Beatles and The Kinks to Spoon.

• The Salty Circus — Saskatchewan circus performers bringing a spectacular visual element to the festival with fire performance, LED acts, stilts and roving entertainment. Their combination of choreography, technical skill and sheer spectacle makes them a great transition between musical acts.

• Mykal Gambull — Saskatchewan singer-songwriter whose music draws from roots, blues, soul, R&B, rock and country storytelling. His songs are straightforward and personal, inspired by everyday life and artists including John Prine, Rodney Crowell and Greg Keelor.

• Bruce Rawling — Brings more than four decades of experience as a touring musician, singer-songwriter, recording artist, session musician, producer and engineer. His songwriting spans rock, folk, bluegrass and country, exploring life, relationships and faith.

• Jarvis Mattson — Classic country musician/singer. Solo acoustic guitarist and vocals. Well known in the area. Approximately 35 years experience ic guitar and vocals.

• Wade Fehr — A Saskatchewan singer-songwriter whose prairie-rooted music blends country, folk and blues with warm, personal storytelling. A multi-instrumentalist incorporating guitar and harmonica, Fehr draws inspiration from family, prairie life, people and places, giving his performances an authentic Saskatchewan feel.
